Dear Reader,
     This prose, “Walking on a strange Land”, had landed in the “Westories-Peace”, An anthology of poetry and prose by NESB women. Published by NSW Liverpool Migrant Resource Centre in the year 2000*

     “I sowed a seed and I would like to see it grow. Since I’ve attended some writing workshops run by Marisa, I would not like to let her down. I have to show her the result of the seeds she has scattered in the land of my soul. She believed in me, helped me through many tasks, and now I present the flowers harvested from my rich soil.
     Thank you, Marisa, and I hope that I will have more flowers in the future for you to enjoy.”

     “Tôi gieo một hạt giống và tôi muốn thấy nó nẩy mầm. Từ lúc tôi dự những lớp viết văn do Marisa điều khiển, tôi không muốn cô thất vọng. Tôi muốn khoe cái kết quả mà cô đã gieo hạt vào mảnh đất tâm hồn tôi. Cô tin tôi, giúp tôi qua nhiều phần việc, và bây giờ tôi trình bày những bông hoa gặt hái được từ mảnh đất màu mở của tôi.
     Cảm ơn cô, Marisa, tôi hy vọng rằng tôi sẽ có thêm nhiều hoa nữa để cô thưởng thức”.
